What's Happening:

September 8, 2010. Busy, Busy, Busy. September is certainly lining up to be a busy month for The King's Strings.  Not only do we have 5 of 6 children in school (Grades 10, 8, 7, 4, and kdg.), but we have 2 in sports, 3 in dance and of course there are all of the instrumental lessons. Allenberry's run of Snow White has added 3 new shows so Mariana will be rehearsing once again for that.  And other than December, it looks as if it will be our busiest month this year!

We went to Spruce Lake Retreat over the Labor Day holiday to play a concert during their Music Weekend.  It was fun to see familiar faces in the audience.  After the concert I was privileged to become reaquainted with someone I had tutored way back when.  What a blessing to find out that she is now in high school and not only doing well but in honors English! Sometimes we just need confirmation that our labors are not in vain.  The same is true with our concerts.  We love to be a blessing and enjoy hearing testimonials of how that has happened in the lives of our audience members.  Thank you, Jesus!
